Happy Birthday Taegan!

Our baby turned 3 years old today! She got a new Dora bicycle and helmet. She has waited very patiently for several months now to go get her Dora bicycle and helmet. She rode it to the front of the store and out to the car. The big THANK YOU and SMILE in the car was priceless!

After a dinner of her favorite potatos we all enjoyed some strawberry cake with strawberry icing.

Every princess needs her beauty rest after a day full of fun!

The past three years have been so much more then I could have imagined;

I can't even begin to imagine what the future holds!

Well, another weekend has passed and Taegan kept us laughing! We have a cat a few houses down that likes to hang out at our house. He is a hunter and left a a few gifts this weekend. On Friday he was playing with a baby mole and got a little rough. Taegan told me the baby mole was sleeping. On Saturday she found a little mouse that was sleeping too! As I was scooping them both up so that they could "sleep" in a more private place Taegan followed me the whole way saying..."Soooo cute, cute as a button, they are sooo cute!". She repeated this until they were out of sight. Chad and I couldn't help but laugh at her. What an animal lover! How sweet her little voice sounded talking about these two "sleeping" animals. A child's outlook on things is so sweet and warm....I hope these sweet moments last forever!

What a funny girl.....

Toddlers....Aren't they fun? It is amazing how the little things they do can really brighten a day. Taegan is such a clown and will do anything for a laugh. Here are a few of her funnies lately....

• She is always telling us she is not a baby she is a "BIG" girl. Now that we are trying to work on using the potty she has changed her mind. She has decided that if diapers are for babies then she would just like to remain a baby!....Which remaining a baby is ok with us because she is growing up way to fast!


• Each night before getting into the bathtub she straddles the side of the tub and says "YeeHaw....Giddy-Up Horsey!".


• When she wants us to come look at something she tells us "Come on it's so fun".


• She was watching the movie "Alvin and The Chipmunks" the other day. When she came downstairs she didn't have her shirt on, when I asked her why she had her shirt off she told me because she was dancing. I promise she did not learn this from me....I do not do any topless dancing around the house!

Welcome to our blog

Ok....I learned about blogs from one of Chad's co-workers, Amy. She sent us her blog address several months ago to share about a special event in her family and ever since I have enjoyed reading about their special times together. So I decided to create a blog so everyone can enjoy some of our everyday moments. Taegan is growing up so fast and it is amazing to me some of the things she comes up with. I love sharing things about her and found blogspots to be a lot of fun. I am new at this so bear with me.
